My ๐ฉ๐ช
#Germany ๐
diagram has been updated for 2026! It focuses on long-distance train lines that run at least three times a day. Providing a more interpretable alternative to #DB 's official #IC and #ICE diagram with a stronger focus on the system (regularly running connections and their frequency instead of the sole line definition) was my initial motivation for starting creating diagrams a couple of years ago.

My unofficial ๐ซ๐ท
#TGV diagram has got an update for 2026. Once again, not much has changed.
This is my personal attempt to unravel the #French high-speed rail system, if only a little. The highly radial network means that the diagram varies greatly in density. Around Paris, TGV Intersecteur trains have to be grouped together, but there is space for symbols representing important landmarks.

Happy New Year! I'm starting the 2026 railway year with my updated ๐ฆ๐น
Austria long-distance rail diagram. Due to the opening of the #Koralmbahn, #รBB has reorganised its long-distance services on the Sรผdbahn and in the Alps. #Westbahn will introduce new services between Vienna and Villach in April.

For the first time, I have managed to update all eleven of my country #train diagrams for the same year! And it's only May!๐

I started making the diagrams because I missed the (useful) official ones and wanted a planning guide for my travels. I hope they help you too when travelling through central or northern ๐ช๐บ
#Europe (or whatever you need them for)!

I have never used anything like this strange 'transport thing' before. It's a combination of a vertical lift and a horizontal funicular, and it can be found in Genoa.

The advantage of this route is that I can change to the IC ๐ฉ๐ช
Flensburg - ๐ฉ๐ฐ
Fredericia, which doesn't require a seat reservation. Otherwise I would habe ended in the often crowded EuroCity Hamburg-Copenhagen. But more importantly, it is a DSB MF/IC3 also known as 'rubber nose', which is one of the most cozy train I have ever been on! #BlankSpots
Tog er fantastiske! ๐
(Trains are fantastic!) #BlankSpots
The Kiel-Flensburg line provides a curiosity. Due to the construction of a new bridge across the Schlei and the poor condition of the old one, the Schlei can only be crossed on foot. The train line isndisrupted and has two terminus station on both ends of the brdige. This may be inconvenient for locals, but is randomly interesting to me. #BlankSpots

Lars at a train station so early in the morning... That means it's going to be an eventful day. ๐
