I love Debian from the bottom of my heart. Just being in contact with it calms me down.

@las_lallero@puntarella.party As for me, I'm learning from his way of thinking by using it as an example of what not to do.
@las_lallero@puntarella.party I am projecting onto him the negative role of what I myself "could have been."
Therefore, it's not that I don't regret at all that I continue to interact with him.
Good evening, fedi folks.
My coworker, who's addicted to pachinko, keeps asking me what my type of woman is, and it's really bothering me.
He talks about love as if a guy with a "face score" of 40 is automatically required to propose to any woman with a "face score" of 60 he sees. We're not magnets or chemical elements, so I have no idea what part of his thinking I'm supposed to relate to.
Is he saying that if he sees a beautiful woman, has a great personality, and is flawless with nothing to criticize, he has to "get" her?
I could understand if he were thinking, "Oh, that girl looks like she'd take care of my parents, so maybe I should get on her good side." But both of his parents have already passed away.
What does he want to do with her? Or what does he want to do for her?
When it comes to love, isn't that far more critical than just talking about a girl's looks or personality?
Sometimes, when I hear men talk about how they think a relationship can work out based on their partner's good looks alone, it makes me feel at a complete loss.
I don't usually practice speaking English, so I tend to forget. For the SVOC structure, in English, are you supposed to put the stress on the S or on the V?
I think putting the stress on the V probably makes me sound more confident and composed when I speak slowly.
