I don't usually practice speaking English, so I tend to forget. For the SVOC structure, in English, are you supposed to put the stress on the S or on the V?

I think putting the stress on the V probably makes me sound more confident and composed when I speak slowly.

When I was in high school we practiced English reading songs lyrics, mainly Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan, but also some others to differentiate the various "flavors" of pronunciation in different English-speaking countries .
