It seems like that Epstein fellow's network was so vast that there wasn't a single wealthy person who wasn't connected to him.

I'm glad my father isn't socially successful yet, so he had nothing to do with it.

Whether an AI tool can be operated in a low-cost and ecologically friendly manner depends on the skill of the person using it.

AI is not a magic wand that can grant you any wish or do things you can't.

If you use AI the wrong way, you'll just burn through a massive amount of tokens and end up with a codebase that doesn't work at all.

AI coding editors, in particular, are all harm and no good. People who can't break down requirements into modules shouldn't be involved in coding in the first place.

Seriously, it's leading to the destruction of the global environment.

This morning, I was writing a custom function for Excel using VBA.

Someone in our client's PR department makes a lot of typos. So, when I'm trying to aggregate article performance data, VLOOKUP can't find a match for the article titles he types in, whether I use an exact or partial match.

So, I decided to implement an algorithm that calculates the similarity between text strings to work around his typos.

It's a real pain to do.

In the United States, billionaires and their male followers who have rejected progressivism and abandoned liberal ideas are leaning towards conservatism, stubbornly clinging to failed ideas from a past they deem "unsustainable."

But I am not like them. I don't question history, and I am aware that rejecting progressivism often leads to nothing more than a fall to the dark side.

It's absurd that I have to pay nearly $20 a month just to translate posts on the fediverse.

Why is Google Translate's rate limiting for Cloudflare so strict?

What's a shame lately is that for a while after the Covid pandemic started, wearing a face mask meant you were being considerate. But now, because U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents are wearing them to hide their faces, the impression people have of someone wearing a mask has gotten bad again.

I'm not very familiar with the political situation in the US, but dressing like ICE is not something a respectable adult would do. This isn't Counter-Strike cosplay.

I'm Japanese, so I don't know much about the political situation in the US, but aren't ICE agents technically civil servants?

Even though they're public officials, isn't it lame how they dress like some kind of gang or terrorist group and act all tough?
