You have to write 1500 lines of JavaScript just to pin an HTML element to the background of an image that's 5760px wide and 2160px high. By defining it in CSS, you can reduce the entire embedded HTML to 500 lines.
If we had moved on to the testing phase with the JavaScript implementation as is, there would have been a ton of bugs, and the performance load would have been terrible. LLMs are a scary thing.
Good evening, everyone on Fedi.
Work was tough today. On a web game project I've been tasked with, my junior colleague used an LLM to generate some incredibly complex JavaScript source code. He had set it up so that each monster's animation was fixed to a specific position on a background image larger than the window, which I had to rewrite from scratch in CSS.
In the end, you know. Introducing an LLM into a beginner coder's workflow can sometimes lead to catastrophic results.
My instance is definitely supposed to be using Cloudflare, but what's going on?
Good morning, everyone on fedi.
When I opened LINE News a little while ago, a story caught my eye about a ramen shop employee in his 50s who was attacked by a bear 🐻
, punched and kicked it repeatedly, and drove it away.
He says that a bear's 🐻
body is so tough that punching it over and over doesn't have much effect.
I want a society where as many people as possible can find peace and happiness.
I hope for the happiness of everyone, except for those few who try to achieve their goals by making others miserable.
