For about 5 minutes, I thought about using Notion or a similar project management tool for some Seasons of Jason stuff I'm cooking up, but it instantly felt way too much like a job
So I'm using a bunch of sticky notes instead! That's how we creatives do it, right? With a jumbled mess of paper notes that matches the chaos of our brains? π€ͺ
Well, it's not Oregon or Yosemite - hell it's not even hiking - but I need to keep that cardio up and my energy levels high, so I took a quick 17-mile bike ride this morning. At least there was water and some ducks to look at! Also I was happy to see the little birdhouse kingdom still there by the creek.
Surprise! AI is still overwhelmingly dumb, and now it's insulting my feet! I mean, I know I have wide feet, but I'm not a hobbit π
[Also, this is a bit of an experiment. No one should use Microsoft Bing, ever, for anything.]
βThe sun was up when I awakened and the world was remade and shining. There are as many worlds as there are kinds of days, and as an opal changes its colors and its fire to match the nature of the day, so do I.β

I got tired of buying overpriced granola (which I've been doing for YEARS), so I finally decided to make my own. It's super easy, and super tasty!

#SilentSunday
I think this is my next #backpacking trip! Yosemite high country with alpine lakes, granite passes, and a mixture of High Sierra backpacker's camps and wilderness camping.
And the midpoint would be Merced Lake, which was my destination for my first backpacking adventure last year. Time to make it happen!
annnnnnd wilderness permit acquired! I leave next Sunday.

This is me with my great grandpa George and great grandma Della. He was a logger and lived in Oregon. When he and Della met, she moved from Kansas and they settled in Salem. Much later, her daughter Florine married my grandpa Francis, and they ended up falling in love with Yachats and visited Oregon repeatedly.
I learned some of this only recently.
Apparently loving #Oregon is in my blood.
(Regarding the Halloween costume, my mom sewed it from scratch! I THINK she was trying for Superman...)
Ohhhh, that's tasty.
I seriously cannot wait for Thundermail.
