This is an excellent speech about resilience in the face of unforeseen events, leadership, and reasoning as a method of persuasion.

The speech tells the incredible story of Captain Richard de Crespigny and Qantas Flight 32.

I think the pilot demonstrated immense respect for passengers by being truthful and transparent throughout the incident, rather than offering vague reassurances. Treating people like adults is true leadership.
