The current raffle choices are several skeins of handspun - one pictured below, but I'm also happy to exchange for something else of similar value if you really don't do anything with yarn.

ok so. five image collage showing the front, 3 inner spreads, and back of a riso-printed zine in green and light blue. it's called "on the shoulders of giants" and it's about a knitting technique I learned from Stephen west and how I built on that technique. it talks about joining two adjacent panels without seaming, instead knitting the second panel *onto* the selvedge of the first. then it uses that technique to approach two panels knit with significantly different weights of yarn!

I have 7 years of experience at Microsoft in cloud infrastructure, focusing on Kubernetes and devOps with additional experience around databases, front end, algorithm design.

I am a skilled technical communicator and used to working across teams and even across companies. I have experience teaching people new to or experienced with technical topics.

Documentation and maintenance are passions of mine, and I want to ensure that not only do shiny new systems get built, but that they are documented, maintained, and can be monitored.

I've done considerable work in LGBTQ+ and accessibility education and love to find the places where these topics shine a light on technology.

a fragile, pale green, almost fern- or conifer- like strand of lichen grows straight up from a fence. around it, out of focus, is more lichens of various types. almost perfectly centered amid moss and pine twigs is a circular piece of light green-bordered-with-grey lichen with flattish branching pieces growing off a stick is a plateish-shaped lichen, whitish green on top and darker green underneath, with frilled edges strands of lichen hang from a grey branch. in focus in the center, one has a water droplet gathered at the very end
