The front yard of a house that has recently been sold, and they're clearing out their old junk. There are fallen brown leaves in the lawn, a matching pair of reclining loveseats in a very 80s style upholstery, with one seat reclined, and a pair of matching hers and his bicycles, the same color and brand, but one with the straight crossbar and the other one a step through style crossbar appropriate for riding while wearing a skirt.

I got my first AI-written recruiter pitch. The message was totally garbled, mixing in true stuff from my resume and made-up garbage about companies I never worked for, mentioning an unrelated open position before moving on to the position they were pitching to me. Then the best part: "If you're still reading this, it means I got your attention." Um yeah, technically true, like watching a train wreck. Signed by a recruitment "expert".

Nice to see the wildlife, including this wasp, taking advantage of my water fountain. Ironically, the bottom level of this fountain has a shallow layer with rocks, where insects could more easily access the water, but this wasp is a risk taker

The nice thing about this apparent (*) drought is that the mosquitoes are gone from my yard, and I can take all the early morning photos I want. Although I have friends in Montreal who say their mosquitoes have gotten worse.

I had a terrible pizzeria experience yesterday, for many reasons, one of which was the paucity of toppings.
So I enjoyed the good part, and turned the rest of the crust into more pizza today.

Half a pizza in a pizza box. The lack of toppings is striking. There's one slice that's about 1/3 toppings and 2/3 crust. After I ate the parts with toppings, I saved the plentiful crusts, and turned them into more pizza. This time totally loaded with grated cheese, crumbled feta, onions, peppers, and tomatoes. You can't even see the base anymore because it's mostly toppings.
