I saw a beautiful skunk on my morning walk before dawn. Low light and I obviously didn't want to get too close. They're really gorgeous creatures. Nice lines and curves and contrasts and long flowing fur.

One of the dahlia mixes I planted has a variety of reds and yellow, and also red and yellow together in the same flower. My favorite color combo.

lol "remove labels"

Picture of a label with preparation instructions. The very first sentence is "remove the plastic lid and labels", and the photo shows that it's actually impossible to remove the labels. An attempt has been made, but most of the label remains firmly attached. Also, the instructions are on the bottom of the package, so you have to hold it over your head in order to read it, or else mess up the contents by turning them upside down.

The sky is blue and the rowan berries are orange.
Last year I saw somebody's rowan tree full of berries, from a distance, and I said to myself, I want that tree. Fortunately/unfortunately I had an opening in my yard after the spruce tree fell on the house during a big storm.
