The transsexual dyke your liberal columnists warned you about.

Part-time woman, full-time nuisance. May contain traces of neurodivergence. Cisn't. Now you say ‘pronouns in bio’ because you have no other jokes.

Anti-fascism. Intersectional & queer feminism. Prison abolition. Liberation for all. International solidarity. I've been around long enough to see every discourse several times over, so spare me the bullshit.

Thank fuck not American.

【Pinned tweet time! Let's talk follow requests (again again)】

I keep my account locked, meaning I have to approve each new follower. I'm fairly picky about that and I try to curate my followership as much as is possible on here.
What makes your follow request more likely to be accepted:

friend of friends (shoot me a DM if we know each other off-site)
queer, neurodivergent, disabled — in other words, like me
visible, outspoken allyship (pronouns in bio is a good start but not enough)
coming from a well-moderated instance
What makes your follow request less likely to be accepted:

little or no CWs or alt text
coming from an undermoderated instance (incl. ones with few / no explicit protections for marginalised people: just "don't say anything illegal" isn't enough)
not reading these pinned posts
huge account / influencer / public figure
What will get your follow request rejected immediately:

empty profile
bot
we have never interacted
coming from an unmoderated instance / right-wing instance / instance that federates with right-wing instances

If I just accepted your follow request: welcome! If I didn't: don't take it personal.

(P.S: "Undermoderated instance" includes the flagships (.social and .online)
【Next: A Word About Boosts】

I noticed a lot of people put something like this on their profile and some/many people ask if boosting something is okay, so here's how I handle it for my own posts.

If a post is
public (little globe icon), it's okay to boost, and in fact I'm probably encouraging you to boost it. Public posts are ones I want to be seen.

If a post is
unlisted (open lock icon), it's probably okay to boost it or at least not a problem if you do, but use your best judgement (for instance, if it's part of a semi-public convo, may expose someone's personal post to a larger audience than intended, doesn't make sense out of context, then maybe don't).

And if it's
followers-only then you literally can't boost it so… duh🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

【Just FYI: If you have a problem with me, I annoy you, I said something hurtful, etc. etc.…】

…please feel free and encouraged to bring that up with me!

Shoot me a DM please, chances are, it wasn't on purpose and we can talk it out.

Same goes if you'd like me to CW something I didn't CW hitherto, just say so and I'll do it.

Mastodon needs a feature to assign visible-only-to-you nicknames to people. Notes aren't enough, I need to put "that one jerk", "bestie", "(subject) knower", "instance xy mod no. 5", and "nasty asshole" labels on people

What the FUCK?!!!?!?!?!

The aforementioned ISO standard symbols have one disadvantage: they are registered trademarks and must be licensed. The copyright lies with the international organization GINETEX, which has 18 member countries with national committees that monitor the use of care symbols in their respective territories.
Fuck ISO!

I just don't get it. The top thread tension was at 4 (out of 9) and the bottom tension is perfectly fine, and yet the fabric puckers and curves to the top as if the top tension were MASSIVELY to high?! I've reduced it to 2 and the problem persists. I don't get it.

This was a nearly straight edge when I cut it, now look at it. What the hell.

I don't believe in gods or spirits, but since every single sewing endeavour I've tried has failed catastrophically in unforeseen and often heretofore-thought-impossible ways, the conclusion that I must be cursed becomes ever more inescapable.

If the fabric weren't so goddamn prone to fraying, I would fucking STAPLE it in place.
