I took our old (16 years) cat with kidney disease to the vet this morning for a check-up and bloodwork. I was shocked at how reasonable the bill was. Well, that was premature. I got a call later in the day with the vet's apologies. The office had forgotten to include the $250 bloodwork. Well, all I can say is, we love this old kitty so much that even without pet health insurance, it's still all worth it. (Even if the total bill hurt us more than the needle hurt the cat.) #veterinarian #cats

I'm not sure if this is an accurate report or not, but I've read that Truth Social's AI chatbot has been contradicting TFG. For instance, it says that he lost the 2020 election if you ask it about that. If this is accurate reporting, I am pleased. If it isn't accurate reporting, you may return to your #doomscrolling #ai #truthsocial #chatbot

#freedc The rationalization of some TV journalists saying that the federalization of DC’s metropolitan police department will help citizens there “feel” safer (violent crime is down in DC dramatically) is ridiculous. They are being disingenuous. This is not normal, is a strategic distraction by the WH away from the Epstein files debacle and is a completely unnecessary overreach. Also, if TFG could do this now, why didn’t he call in the national guard on Jan. 6th 2021?

Blistered, steam sautéed green beans (w/splash of white wine and garlic). The beans were just picked from our garden yesterday. (Thanks @allisonhooper@mas.to !) They were delicious! 😋
