#freedc The rationalization of some TV journalists saying that the federalization of DC’s metropolitan police department will help citizens there “feel” safer (violent crime is down in DC dramatically) is ridiculous. They are being disingenuous. This is not normal, is a strategic distraction by the WH away from the Epstein files debacle and is a completely unnecessary overreach. Also, if TFG could do this now, why didn’t he call in the national guard on Jan. 6th 2021?
