Fallout New Vegas - is teleporting fast travel?
Having this teleportation gun complicates my "i don't fast travel" headcanon. Obviously teleporting isn't walking. Does that make it fast travel, or does it make it NOT fast travel? My tryhard self wants to say i can only use the teleporter gun at the drive in, because that's where i will wind up and "i don't fast travel", but my logical in-game headcanon self says this tech precludes the need to walk so it doesn't violate the spirit of intent to use it to get to the Big MT, or the drive-in theater at south end of the main game map if that's convenient

This game became really buggy all of a sudden while i was in Old World Blues. According to Reddit i should only have like 4 game saves for Fallout New Vegas on the PS3 and i had hundreds. After deleting almost all of them from the system menu and disabling auto saves it seems to mostly be better. It's still temperature sensitive and i should probably clean the game console but it's working now

I beat The Big MT!
I leveled up a lot. I killed Mobius. I convinced the rest of the scientists that i AM Mobius and got them to team up with me. I didn't complete every mission, and there's still an upgrade i want to buy from the auto doc, so i hope i can go back.

I'm still not fast traveling, even in the Big MT. I basically had to clear an area and return home to recoup, then i could go a little further, etc. I started with a safe pocket on the map and now there's only a few pockets that aren't cleared.

Having a high survival skill has paid off big. I got a perk that gives me red paste or blood sausage on half the living things i kill and mixing that with some cave fungus and wine gives some really powerful medicine. Which is great when there's almost no stimpacks to be had.

I've activated most of the items in the sink and I'm getting stuff for the robots, i think i might be about 75% done with this DLC now. I'm at the point where I'm not avoiding conflicts in the Big MT because i don't expect them to kill me.

The Big MT was a little rough at first but this is my second time here so i knew what to expect. The first time i played Old World Blues i entered at level 5 and exited at level 20, this time i entered at level 20. I'm currently level 30. That first playthrough was really rough. The recommended level to enter is 10.
