2xfoI'm still not fast traveling, even in the Big MT. I basically had to clear an area and return home to recoup, then i could go a little further, etc. I started with a safe pocket on the map and now there's only a few pockets that aren't cleared.

I leveled up a lot. I killed Mobius. I convinced the rest of the scientists that i AM Mobius and got them to team up with me. I didn't complete every mission, and there's still an upgrade i want to buy from the auto doc, so i hope i can go back.
2xfoThis game became really buggy all of a sudden while i was in Old World Blues. According to Reddit i should only have like 4 game saves for Fallout New Vegas on the PS3 and i had hundreds. After deleting almost all of them from the system menu and disabling auto saves it seems to mostly be better. It's still temperature sensitive and i should probably clean the game console but it's working now

2xfoHaving this teleportation gun complicates my "i don't fast travel" headcanon. Obviously teleporting isn't walking. Does that make it fast travel, or does it make it NOT fast travel? My tryhard self wants to say i can only use the teleporter gun at the drive in, because that's where i will wind up and "i don't fast travel", but my logical in-game headcanon self says this tech precludes the need to walk so it doesn't violate the spirit of intent to use it to get to the Big MT, or the drive-in theater at south end of the main game map if that's convenient
2xfoI just encountered Cesar's Legion and dispatched them with barely any effort. I leveled up at least 10 times in Old World Blues, as well as taking some other pretty sweet perks, and it shows.
I'm level 35 and i haven't even visited Benny yet, lol

I stopped by The Kings and used my favor to join their gang. I'm the first Lady King, lol.
2xfoI picked up Rex again while i was at The Kings since i lost all my companions when i went to Big MT. I picked up Boone yesterday. I was walking past that dinosaur in Novac and just had to.
2xfoI entered New Vegas. I got as far as trying to enter Tops before the PlayStation crashed. Honestly it's been working better than usual so I'm not complaining.

2xfoOh yeah, i finally changed out of Vera's dress and put on The Kings outfit. Jeans and a leather jacket look very different, but i think the beret still works with it. I gave Boone that weird talking stealth armor, he seems to like it

2xfoI saved the Gunderson kid from the fancy cannibals at Luxe and wound up killing most of the masqueraders in the process. I'm really good at punching, so that's a faction down.
Now I'm working with Cachino to take down the Omartas. I forget why i don't like them. Oh wait, they treat women horribly, keeping them on drugs and selling their bodies, that's why.
2xfoI destroyed the Omartas' guns with thermite given to me by Cachino and then i convinced him to shoot his bosses. I'm about to go see what happens.
I feel like I'm taking options i haven't before. Like, I've played this game a dozen times and i don't think I've ever used thermite before in Fallout.
2xfoHaha, that was awesome. I convinced one of the bosses that i was working against him for the other boss so he killed that guy for me and then it was a fight of 4 against 1 and for some reason i have a flamethrower? Also Miss Fortune showed up for the ten second battle, lol

2xfoThey killed me. I had saved just before i entered the hotel so this time i chose to fight Victor instead of leaving my companions outside. I had to kill all the robots in the area but it was pretty easy with my modified transmitter antenna melee weapon. I'll see how far this winds up going

I was leaving the strip, where i just killed all of the securitrons, and i get outside the gate and i hear securitrons threatening me and just as I'm about to hit one of them i realize they are not hostile. Huh?
They were talking to someone else.
When you first get to the strip there's a scripted scene where a person tries to run past the bots and they get shot. I ran in so fast that the script never finished 😅
2xfoOk, i decided I'm going to meet the Boomers, then the Khans, then BoS. After that I'll go to the secret bunker in the bottom right of the map. I wonder if i can swim there 🤔
2xfoSo i disengaged Mr House a while back. I don't know, it just seemed right? I didn't really even engage him at all, i just, didn't think he was interesting this time. I like the Yes Man.
2xfoYesterday i met the Boomers and now I'm pretty close to raising The Lady of the Lake for them which should mean they will help in the end fight. I've been helping the NCR, at least as long as they aren't killing peaceful supermutants, so i think they will pitch in too.
2xfoCesar has an open invitation to go see him and I'm curious what will happen with my speech perks when the time comes. But i might do another dlc before i go down the river.
And i still need to make real contact with the Khans. I'm not sure how I'll get along with them. I have sympathy for what the NCR did to them but they also make a lot of trouble. Which maybe i like? I'll see what happens when i get there.

2xfoI'm working on the BoS mission and i don't fast travel so i just randomly wandered into another supermutant territory. I forgot about Tabitha, lol.
2xfoI died a couple times and got back to it today. So i found a broken robot and fixed it and it asked me to lead it to Tabitha.
Tabitha is a purple supermutant wearing red heart glasses and a blond wig. She's waiting for me outside the supply room. The robot, Rhonda, tells her i fixed her and Tabitha thanks me and they walk away.

I'm pretty sure i remembered this mission being hard but I'm currently leveled beyond what the original game even allowed, so, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
2xfoToday i explored vault 34 and spent a lot of time at the Gun Runners buying stuff and selling stuff and making all of my ammo better at the reloading station. I made a few bad purchases but i have so many caps i can't really worry about wasting a few thousand.
2xfoThen i went to Mick and Ralph's to borrow their workbench and optimized all of my energy weapon ammo. Then i broke one of my cardinal rules and actually sold ammo because i didn't want to shoot the overcharged stuff and hurt my guns. (Ammo weighs nothing and can always be shot so i try never to sell it but my character is overpowered and rolling in excess ammo now so i think it's ok)
An annoying side effect of not having any normal ammo is i can't directly tell how much ammo i have when I'm selecting a weapon anymore, but I'm willing to deal with that.
2xfoI also helped out around McCarren. I conducted an interrogation of a high ranking legionnaire and got him to spill some beans with my speech skill. I'm starting to get to a point at McCarren where i feel like the game glitches irrecoverably so i might try to stay out of there now 🫤
2xfoSo i love to slow roll my fallout playthroughs. I'm level 39 and i haven't met Cesar yet, but i still have 2 DLCs to complete as well.
I think I'm going to find the Happy Trails caravan master.
2xfoI found the lot of caravanners in a cave. I talked to the guy in a vault suit first and he was immediately awful. I called him out for being addicted to jet, told him he would suffer terrible withdrawals if he ran out, sold him fixer, then sold him a lot of jet, then i convinced him he should leave because he has no idea what he's doing. I mean, that's the reason i told him but personally i thought he was awful and i was just happy to make him leave.
2xfoLol, i was kind of looking forward to journeying with this gang but they all died in the first fight. I guess i did that prick a favor convincing him to leave

I leveled up a bunch so that's cool. And i liked the scenery and the weather. I just thought the lore was trying to be a lot and not giving me the room to actually feel involved, maybe?
2xfoThe other dlcs were pretty linear with a few choices along the way. Do this or your head will explode. Be nice to this person or not. This one, i didn't really grasp that i had choices to make but it's obvious that i did now that I've watched the epilogue. And the last scene! 🫣
I reloaded the game because i was sure it was glitching. No inputs worked. They just wanted me to use the detonator but they locked me in place and wouldn't let me access the pipboy so it just seemed like the game was glitched as usual. The second time it happened i tried pulling the trigger a couple times and it worked but man, lol, maybe try not to make your game feel like it's locked up if it's still working?
2xfoI already lost my companions in the Mojave when i went to Zion so i think I'm going to go back to the Big MT. I'm at the top of the map and using the teleporter will get me to the bottom of the map, and just about everything i have left to do is waiting on me meeting Cesar down there
