Regarding quality, however, there has been a significant shift in opinion among developers over the last year. 47% of respondents now believe that generative AI will lead to a reduction in the quality of games produced over the next 12 months, up sharply from 34% in 2024. This is mirrored by a decrease in the number expecting AI-driven increases in game quality, which has fallen to just 11%, meaning developers are more than four times as likely to anticipate a negative impact. ce17215faf973a20.png
