As a former abortion clinic worker, having folks adopt the phrase "safe, legal & rare" was the beginning of the end of Roe -- by design. We have to fight back against anyone who tries to use the same argument re: trans folks in sports, however well-meaning they may be. Appeasement never works.

Rice paddy or "Tambo" art, an art form originating in Japan where images are created in rice fields by planting different varieties and colors of rice.

This particular artwork, measuring 40 meters in length and 170 meters in width, is located in the rice paddy fields of Higashitakasu, Asahikawa City, Hokkaido, Japan.

Recipe: 'Quick and easy fish stew' 🐟🦐

Such a great simple healthy recipe. Here in Ireland the fresh leeks are amazing, and the smell of them (chopped raw) filled the house last time. Highly recommended -

Ingredients, Serves 2

1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp fennel seeds
2 carrots, diced
2 celery sticks, diced (I prefer a sweet red pepper)
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped (or more 😋)
2 leeks, thinly sliced
400g can chopped tomatoes (the best you can afford eg. think Mutti, Cirillo)
500ml hot fish stock heated to a simmer
2 skinless pollock / white fish fillets (about 200g), thawed if frozen, and cut into chunks. Cod, hake, sea bass etc
100-200g raw king prawns

My "must-have" additions -
1 tbsp sweet paprika
1 tbsp smoked paprika
Chili flakes, to taste

(Optional: Some cooked mussels, if you want)
