Headed out earlier to the last public training session at the RCMP Police Dog Service Training Centre just outside of Innisfail, Alberta.
It is a training event for potential police dogs (most about 18 months - 2 years). It is also a training event for Mounties who want to become police dog handlers.
Over 1000 people were there to watch these fantastic animals & Mounties run through all sorts of training...from obedience to crunching a bad guy's arm.
People from Europe, South America, and all over Canada came out to see. Free of charge to everyone...they are trying to organize 2 sessions a month next summer. Bucket list ✔
