Interested in doing some real climate action this summer? I've got an impactful project that you could work on.
This will work for any size community, anywhere but some places will be much better than others and the smaller the town the better for now.

on this climate lobbying @cclusa.org
So, basically this climate action lobbying that I think could be quite successful is to follow @carbonbrief.org example for your community: https://www.carbonbrief.org/guest-post-how-solar-panels-and-batteries-can-now-run-close-to-24-365-in-some-cities/?utm_content=buffer3c5c3&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
I know many people are angry after the election results. I know I am.
I spent four years defending Joe Biden and Democrats while trying in vain to convince others that their constant criticism of Democrats was only going to help put the GOP back in power.
My anger is justified and since most of those people I tried to convince have blocked me this is one of my posts you might screenshot and toot if you want any of those people to possibly learn the lesson they should have long ago.
I know that I have a steep hill to climb in order to help Carbon Dioxide Removal #CDR recover from the damage the #FossilFools and just plain grifters have done to the reputation of Direct Air Capture #DAC.
I'm hoping that the tangible product #BioChar can help to convince people to reconsider DAC for CDR.
The demonstrated recalcitrance of terra preta and ability of any and every farmer/gardener to manufacture and sequester it makes it one of my favorite approaches.

The temperature of the globe was the 3rd warmest on record (in this dataset) during the climatological boreal spring in 2023. Focus on the long-term trend - not every little wiggle.

I've been trying to get people to take #ClimateAction for so long that I contributed a lot to the campaign towards messaging that global warming has been caused by the fossil fuel industries and so we should focus our ire against them.
A big part of the reason for that early focus that there were so few of us and we needed to not alienate people by attacking their lifestyles. Well, now it's up to individuals to act, but when I say "individuals" it's the ones at the top of this chart 1st
I need to take a break from social media, wish me luck. Being all alone this is all I've got, but I've got to try to get some other stuff done I've been putting off so I can get back out into the real world.
I just wanted to say that I've now decided that I'll probably go ahead and put up a couple more marten houses. They sure add a certain richness to the RV park.
Their bio says they support:

But their posts make clear that they don't actually support any of that:
This Republican-run Federal Trade Commission has declared that an emissions agreement between California and four major truck makers is βunenforceableβ since it would harm the fossil fuel industry.

Tariffs have proven to be a pretty successful distraction from the enactment of Project 2025 don't you think?
Bloomberg's site has three tabs dedicated to tariffs I notice on this story about how badly U.S. farmers are doing under Republicans.
Americans can't identify which consumer decisions most cause global warming.
The top three individual actions that help the climate, avoiding plane flights, choosing not to get a pet and using renewable electricity, were the three that participants underestimated the most.

Of course though, Republicans are trying to remove everything the Democrats did in regards to equitable investments in disadvantaged communities and to avoid creating charging deserts.

I've been saying for a while that no decisions should be made based on government data released while Republicans are in charge of the White House. Investors don't seem too concerned about their lack of honesty though apparently.
I'm not able to relate to anyone who would be part of producing something like this has garenered over two million views that scoffs at climate change like this one.

Justin Ransom helped launch Tysonβs label for βclimate friendlyβ beef, which has been pulled from the shelves and accused of misleading consumers.
Now, Republicans have put him in charge of the federal agency charged with overseeing meat labeling.

Last night, a school district in west Texas voted 4-3 to change the name of their high school back to Robert E. Lee HS.

If you are still stating that there is no difference between the two main political parties in the USA, you are part of the problem.
