Just so we're clear - I would fire every troop. I do not love "da troops," don't think we should have any, and find the military worship that has permeated our society post-Vietnam (fueled no doubt by numerous movies teaching your kids to sympathize with veterans who make their living shooting brown kids for oil companies) is so Starship Troopers it makes my head spin.
I do not care. I DO care that a fascist is trying to bribe the military so he can go full Hitler on the population.
So if Trump is paying a "warrior dividend" of $1,776 to like over a million US soldiers, while claiming that money is coming from tariffs, and tariffs themselves effectively drive up price and function as a regressive tax primarily on the labor class then it's fair to say Trump is robbing workers to bribe the military.
Swell country we got here.
America was a mistake.
Brey, your kids are trying to off themselves rather than live in the world cracker supremacist capitalism has created and our response to that appears to be something akin to criminalizing empathy and torturing the humanity out of them.
The social contract is the idea that the reason you consent to be ruled is that society will provide you with a safe place to raise a family and pursue happiness. Feeling safe? Your kids aren't. Clearly.
So I just came across a statistic about ostensibly straight people, in an article about trans people and I gotta ask you what are we even doing here with this society?
"In comparison, 20.4% of high school students said they seriously considered suicide and 9.5% attempted suicide in 2023."
9 POINT FUCKING FIVE percent? ATTEMPTED? 9.5 fucking PERCENT?
My dude, that's 3 kids a classroom. I was a depressed emo motherfucker and I was the only one in MY class who gave it a go.
What? Necrofascism.
Brey, listen to me very carefully okay?
The honest truth about affluent and powerful liberals is that every single one of them is ideologically a devout capitalist, and if the choice ever comes down to "accept fascism or oppose capitalism" they will, have, and will continue to pick working with fascists. This has been true for over 100 years and it's no less true today that is now. I'm not talking about your fucking Auntie that votes Dem, but I DO mean the party she votes for.
Well, newsflash? Capitalism has hit the end of the line. It's over, because the REALLY REAL EXISTING capitalism we have right now is based on precisely two things - slavery and oil. We're not running out of people to subjugate, but oil? Is on borrowed time and the planet says so. No oil? No capitalism. No capitalism? No Pig Empire.
This is your establishment turning to the French general and chanting "no slavery, no colony" as the rebel army closes in. Except this time, it's for the species.
Brey, listen to me very carefully okay?

Words you never want to hear when an electrician is looking at the home you know your home inspector didn't even bother to check:
"I think there's a grounding issue."
If i go out riding amps, know I died doing what I love - plugging in a cheap coffee maker.
Brey, these are the same people that told you Cuba was using mutant super crickets that cause brain damage on our spies with a straight face and even paid out medical claims on that bullshit. These are the same folks who tried to drum up an anti-vax movement in China to protect American pharma corp interests during a global plague. I am not inclined to take the word of American Intelligence agencies on who is or isn't "a really bad guy."
I'm not steeped in the numbers, but there is sort of a "standard rate" of how many pedophiles we should find in any given industry, based on population demographics and the way large sample sizes produce actionable data even if you don't know all the whys.
Even accounting for the fact that powerful people escape scrutiny for their crimes for far long, the statistical distribution of "ppl tied to the Epstein sex slavery ring" and "people in positions of power in the US" is... remarkable.
In a gross, but undeniable way "the President is a pedophile" is not actually surprising or even noteworthy from a statistical perspective.
But when it becomes "two of the last five Presidents, and they both had the same pimp, and they all use the same bankers who absolutely appear to have been helping cover up a sex trafficking ring, and both federal and FLA prosecutors offices staffed by powerful members of both American parties and oh btw that Pimp did work with Mossad..."
That's remarkable
