I am a retired community college teacher. I had started at a community college myself when I was 32, after 16 years in construction. On my way to becoming a research methodologist, I discovered I loved teaching. It was a good choice. Instead of having a small room full of colleagues who temporarily find my work useful, I've had thousands of students who have been able to use me to help them build their lives.
Oh. And I have a tooth.
