You know, stopping the BLS reports is an unvarnished good, in the sense that literally thousands of business leaders choose how many people to fire in the next quarter based on...BLS reports.

Anyway, you aren't going to need a labor statistician to tell you people are unemployed by October; because we'll be at like 20% and everyone will know.

I don't think this person has a point, and his historical analogies are limited and weak, considering that by the 1930s the Nazis had already consolidated their power and started dismantling the Weimar Republic. In fact, one could read his historical comparisons as apt only in that Hitler took power with centrist support to "protect" Germany from the left, much like the Dems foisting of Hillary, Biden, and then Harris on us paved the way for Trump's ascension.

Yes.

But Democrats are always about 20 years late to the fight, usually after trying to exploit the bullshit they should be fighting, so this is what we get.

mRNA tech hasn't "disappeared" because Trump and RFK decided that Americans should die young and in misery. The rest of the world will pick up the slack and develop the meds we don't. China already is. Europe will.

And rich Americans will get all those meds and more, despite tariffs or even embargos by fuckfaces like RFK.

People talk about how this move by Trump to shut down America's scientific hegemony is going to "destroy science" but it won't. It'll just destroy the US.

When I tell liberals and Democrats that they cannot use the language of the fash against the fash, Donald Trump telling the military to "target foreign drug cartels" in LA (!!!) is why.

Babes, when you joke about deporting Nazis or Elon Musk or are aghast about how "non-criminals are being taken by ICE!" you are agreeing with the fash's ideas, an simply disagreeing on implementation details.

It's like saying "did you hear the Nazis are taking non-moneylender Jews!?"
