[DREAMY2K]
You don't fall asleep.
You get logged in.

Somewhere between 1995 and 2006, a server was never properly shut down.

A forgotten bedroom computer, overheated, tangled with modem noises, Limewire fragments, forum avatars, and MP3s at 128 kbps.

The moment you close your eyes, your brain synchronizes with this old system.

You find yourself in a room that looks like your teenage bedroomβ€”but only as you misremember it.
Too many shadows.
Too much purple.
The CRT monitors breathe.
The fans whirr in rhythm at 170 BPM.

And there they are.

Two figures.

They feel familiar.
Like old online friends whose usernames you never forgot but whose real names you never knew.
They don't quite belong here. Maybe they don't quite belong to you either.

They are not people.
They are fragments of memory:

The euphoria of your first homemade mixtape.

The feeling of staying up too late at night.

The secret crush on a profile picture.

The moment you realized that breakbeats were more than just music.

They run this room like a secret club.
An archive.
A refuge from the clear, sleek present.

Every track on the album is an unstable data record from this server.
Some sound warm and nostalgic.
Some glitch.
Some fall apart and come back together.

You don't know if you're dreaming.
Or if this is the backup of yourself.

And the crazy thing?

You don't even want to wake up.
