I just realized #mozart s tuba mirum

The 'sonum' is to be the sound you hear from God as you die.

And he is giving the bass the challenge of showing that with the voice....first off, it is as long as I want it to be.

With two counted measures of sostenuto* fermata, and all twelve tones in a single stanza

That's beyond just genius

I call myself vox of God, not as a brag, just that it's my job and I'm referring to how we always get the quotation marks:

Thus saith the Lord the Lord of Hosts, "Yet once a little while and I will shake the heavens and the earth"

For example

But I just realized that the best example of that quality that is supposed to make people feel God (a life's work and full time job that is a humbling privilege and joy to live)

*Two measures of four is the perfect length for a messa di voce (crescendo - decrescendo) it's the hardest thing to do vocally and encompasses the range of volume one can produce

**The entrance of the basso in Handel's Messiah.

I am usually trying to describe a vibe or how to get there

Agape is my default position, being loving as default and seeking sanctity is a great defense for anything, ime.

I try to avoid judgement, and am aware of how unpopular faith can be, especially in my circles.

For me, faith and atheism are one side or another of the same question...some aren't comfortable without proof of God's existence, others aren't comfortable without proof of nothingness.

I also see a demographic of not insignificant size of people that have been traumatized or infuriated by faith, that cleave to agnostic or non theism in reaction.

Am overjoyed at interaction, if I am getting pleasant or informative vibes from a follow, I follow back, otherwise, my follows are a barometer of how far out there what I am saying is....and I have to start thinking about how real/accurate or necessary what I am saying is.

*Calling myself an aspirant, idk if that's a thing or title somewhere for me it is someone who works to the realization of something abstract.

Been a professional solo classical vocalist my entire professional life. I judge myself by impossible standards of perfection. I try to be less rigorous with others, unless they are any form of Nazi then I'm horrid like the girl with the curl on her forehead
