@Gargron@mastodon.social @michaelrussell@mas.to The EE-2 is a half frame, so, 72Frames per roll! It's basically my "Point and Shoot" for this trip.
Else, I would. Also, figure I can buy some film there too if I need to...

Now... what film to bring LOL

@geoff_eg@mastodon.social @Gargron@mastodon.social @michaelrussell@mas.to With the change to CT-scan-type airport scanners, and the reluctance of some airports to allow hand searches, I think there's a case to be made to take NO film to Japan. Pre-order some to your accommodation, or just find'n'buy. Also a case to get at least dev done while there... But, it would be more important to me as I probably wouldn't take a digicam, except for the X10 (the only option)!

@carusb@mastodon.scot @geoff_eg@mastodon.social @michaelrussell@mas.to Asking for a hand check for the film is usually not a problem.

@Gargron@mastodon.social @geoff_eg@mastodon.social @michaelrussell@mas.to Good to know, thanks. I think there have been issues in the transition period, let's hope the word is really getting through.

@Gargron@mastodon.social @carusb@mastodon.scot @michaelrussell@mas.to a good caution, though I've only had one instance of international travel where they been resistant to hand checking my film thankfully. It seems to be a much more US specific issue of being denied from everyone I've talked to about it.
