Jeff Bezos’s home in Beverly Hills has the tallest residential fence in the USA, at 6 m tall. Local rules say that fences can’t be more than 1 m. So the fence is illegal! In that case, Bezos pays a fine of one thousand dollars for every month the fence is up.

Honestly, a perfect example of how fines are for poor people whereas they’re just the cost of doing business for rich people.
