okay yup if you wire the acc, battery+, and reverse leads to + and the ground to - and give them 12Vdc, a graphical car stereo can be a television

not sure why you'd want that but it's possible

touch screen car stereo sitting on a carpet floor with an indistinct mess of wires in the background. it's a Dual-brand XVM296BT advertising a 7in touchscreen and Bluetooth. on the left bezel edge there are forward-backward buttons, a red mic button, a silver dial, and microsd, aux, and USB inputs. the screen itself is showing raspberry pi os with a terminal open. the user is mir and the hostname is vcr. the terminal shows a failed attempt to run neofetch, and the results of ip -c a (no network besides loopback, despite this being a pi zero W)

in this broken (?) old touchscreen lcd car stereo, there's a yellow rca on the back labeled "cam in"

this implies that (at least some) backup cameras are just sending tv signals to the head unit, which knows when the car is in reverse (because of the purple-white wire) and then outputs whatever it gets from that rca

meaning that there's a decent chance for being able to do all sorts of things to the incoming backup camera signal. including cast it to my phone..?
