I was really hoping I wouldn't have to do this, but I'm still out from work, and no work = no pay. We have enough set aside for February's bills, thankfully, but we have about twenty bucks left to cover groceries and there are probably going to be some medical expenses, including past-due bills that workers' comp didn't pay the last time I was hurt. If I go back to work tomorrow and pray I don't hurt my back any further, it will still be two weeks before I get paid, so in the absolute best case scenario, we'll need enough for food for us and the kid for that long, and to keep the doctors' bills from going to collections.
