putting my tinfoil hat on but what if the global “ram shortage” is really just a cynical play to discorage the adoption of AI models that can run fully locally?

@bri7@social.treehouse.systems I am actually quite sure it's more than that: not just AI models but anything. It's a direct attack to personal computing, self-hosting, and any serious effort at regaining independent from “the cloud”.
