Modified multi-color 3D printer that takes sticks of encastic painting wax. Print on aged flat oak spaniels.
Print high quality images in wax. Cover with a layer of clear encastic wax by hand to seal.
Encastic paintings last for centuries with very little care beyond being stored in a forgiving temperature range.
Now you have automated a way to preserve a photograph for the ages.
