Huge props to the @HouseOfTea@chaos.social for breaking the silence on solidarity with Palestine, and there were a couple of SoSs organised after that, which is progress from last year. I understand the need for budgeting the controversy and the German context, but it doesn't help the perception that much of the event is kinda... Cosplaying as subversive these days, as opposed to when it used to actually challenge power. I think it would be possible to do more while navigating the context.
