Good morning, everyone on the fedi.
Yesterday, I went to Hadano City in Kanagawa Prefecture for Hatsumode 🧧
(the first shrine visit of the year).
Hadano is famous for its peanuts. I bought some peanut butter 🥜
at a local hot spring gift shop. It came in a small jar and cost 980 yen (about $6), but when I spread it on my toast 🍞
this morning, it had a very refined peanut flavor that wasn't too sweet.
It has zero salt and is low in sugar. It's like this custom-made peanut butter was made just for me, even though I'm on a diet.

When I thoroughly savored the original flavor of the peanuts, unique to this premium peanut butter, I was reminded that obesity results solely from pursuing the high cost-performance of carbohydrates and that it is a disease of poverty.
