Anyway, I have some thoughts about the Sweeney American Eagle ad I feel obligated to share, because the discourse surrounding this is pretty shameful and seems to be being lead by white people as a sort of political football match.

Ready? The ad knew exactly what it was doing, it is definitely racist nazi shit, and the fact that we're focused on Libs of Tik Tok trying to manufacture a controversy out of it instead of the part where the ad really was nazi shit is fucking shameful.

Sweeney has made her bed, she can lie in it. But y'all are so focused on not getting got that you're letting American Eagle off the hook for LITERALLY DOING AN INTENTIONALLY FASCIST AD FOR BLUE JEANS.

Ironic nazism is still nazism. There is no exception to fascism for trolling. Fascists trolling, are still doing fascist propaganda because and I can't stress this enough - fascists DO NOT HAVE HEALTHY INNER LIVES. This is it. This is ALL THEY HAVE. They spend ALL DAY trying to figure out how to normalize and spread fascist ideology because they are small, broken, twisted little people with VERY LIMITED social lives.
