After the latest #Manjaro update I'm getting #Firefox crashes without apparent reason.
I was already thinking to drop Firefox for
#Vivaldi or #Brave but not right now.

I was wondering if anyone has the same problem.
All seem to work fine but Firefox.
The log doesn't provide useful informationto detect the problem's source.

I've already tried to reset the config to defaults but the problem persists.

After switching to kernel 6.12 (from 6.6) I had no more crashes...
fingers crossed

@allanon@mastodon.uno Which kernel do you use? I had issues with 6.18.1 on 2 laptops with AMD CPU and GPU. Firefox did crash immediately when I pressed the right mouse button. But with 6.18.2 it is working fine now. Maybe try kernel 6.12. Or do you have an NVIDIA 10xx card? Then you need to install the NVIDIA driver from AUR.

@allanon@mastodon.uno can you start Firefox via the terminal to perhaps then see why it crashes?
Is it reproducible, i.e. on the same sites/doing the same actions?

@allanon@mastodon.uno have you tried a new profile without extensions? X11 or Wayland?

@iswyrm@mastodon.uno Boh, non saprei perchรจ ho sempre usato Firefox qui su mnjaro senza alcun problema.

@CKL@ioc.exchange I've tried a coiuple of times and it did not crash :)
I've to try to always start FF from the terminal and unfortunately it's not reproducible: when it crashes I always hit the resume tabs option and I can continue for hours or for few minutes
