the underside of a cluster of cream-white mushrooms that themselves are growing from the underside of an uprooted tree, sunlight filtering through their gills to show a veiny structure a grove of wibbly-wobbly spongy orange-ish mushrooms (possibly chicken of the woods?) on the side of a log, with damp moss growing from some of them providing an interesting color contrast the side of a tree trunk with a bad case of some sort of mold spreading over its entire surface, white except for light brown where cracks in the bark are located a squishy-looking translucent white slime fungus resembling brain matter on a be-lichened log, unsure of type but someone credibly suggested "crystal brain fungus" which seems appropriate? reflecting sunlight from the lower side
