This is interesting to me. I grew up and and live in the US. Honey is most often acquired at a supermarket in a plastic container shaped like a bear.
You squeeze the container to dispense the honey.
No spoons, no wands. Just honey.
So... The wand seems amazingly superfluous to me. I literally don't understand the appeal.
