I was devastated.
They did the right thing, of course. But still, I lost my chance to say goodbye.
Took a while to handle the blow. I got lucky I received the components for the keyboard yesterday: It helped me keep my mind busy.
I'll take months to properly elaborate this, hoping something else doesn't happen yet again, even though I am tending to another cat that is probably terminal. So I expect have to make other hard choices soon.
Fuck, this year is shit.

A me è successo lo stesso con il mio cane Dora che da anziana si è ammalata e non poteva essere curata.
Sono rimasto li con lei accarezzandola e parlandogli con il cuore in gola mentre il veterinario faceva quello che doveva fare... sono passatimolti anni e ancora ho i suoi occhi davanti che mi guardano mentre va via e mi si strirge il cuore.
Un abbraccio forte perchè capisco il tuo dolore immenso.
