Mmmm nothing like a layer of freezing rain on top of a bit of snow, a bunch more snow, and then many days of very very negative temperatures.

A screenshot of the 1 week weather forecast. Tomorrow has "snow mixed with freezing rain" then a low of -20C. The next couple of days are somewhat cold and snowy, then a couple days with the high at -24C. Ugh.

Got to play the traditional Saskatchewan game of "where the hell do you think the road is" earlier today

a view through the passenger side of the windshield of a car on a road that is completely coated in snow. If you look carefully, you can sort of see where tire tracks are. Otherwise the road is pretty indistinguishable from the rather flat land on either side of the road. It's snowing and the sky is cloudy. A view looking along a road between houses, taken from inside a car. There's so much snow on the road that the only way you can tell it's a road is there is a gap between houses and trees, and garbage cans in 2 parallel lines along the road. The sky is white and the same colour as the snow on the ground.
