There is a huge solar storm coming tomorrow 9 December - Auroras will be all over the sky
According to a 2023 study, a probable solar energetic particle event, with magnitude twice that of the eponymous 774 CE Miyake event, is shown by a radiocarbon spike at 14 300 cal yr BP in subfossil trees matched by Beryllium isotopes. This is the largest magnitude evidenced so far for such an event
