As a Norwegian, this is fascinating. We don't usually cut off family over politics. But then again, our political debates are usually about toll roads and fishing quotas, not whether women should be state-mandated incubators. It is much easier to ‘agree to disagree’ when your uncle isn't voting to strip you of your civil rights.
