@onqueerstreet@mastodon.social Ugh YES, I can't imagine how grim it must be to be a dude having to wallow in this soup of shit that arseholes claim is 'masculinity' when in fact it is just insecurity wrapped in a blanket of entitlement. Have you ever written anything about what masculinity means to you? Positive masculinity to aspire to kind of thing?

@girlonthenet@mastodon.social I want to clarify that I wasn't tying to make this all about me, more to express that I get where the 'men are trash' sentiment comes from, because we let men like this define what it is to be a man, and that version of masculinity is trash.

And thank you, that means a lot! "Thoughtful on masculinity" is 100% what I'm aiming for.
