I dropped off discord after taking psychic damage from someone flooding the channel with questions and feeding the answers to chatgpt, so they could triangulate to something like a uxntal compiler.
I think a bunch of other folks bounced right out at that time because of that guy. The cost of this one person's trying to save time was definitely not a net positive, there was no time gained whatsoever.
Zig, julia, ocaml, sbcl, etc.. are getting a similar treatment right now from joelreymont who, at this point must have waste 10 lifetimes worth of FOSS developer time, in the guise of trying to save time.
