On his way to New York in 1979, Fidel Castro was asked whether he always wears, "that bulletproof vest."
He replied, "what vest?" and unbuttoned his shirt to reveal a bare chest. "I will land in New York like this. I have a moral vest. It's strong. That one has protected me always."
