my partner and i fled targeted violence in the US recently. we took as much estrogen and progesterone as we could, but our stockpile has run out. ive been without spiro and progesterone for 2 weeks, and my partner and i have both halved our doses of estrogen. we'll be out of all of our hormones by the end of the month.
we can get more, but it's going to cost $400 per person ($800 total) per month, cheaper means of getting hormones aren't accessible to us right now. going without estrogen or spiro means i'll be extremely dysphoric, but i can manage that. the bigger problem is my partner. they've had GRS, and don't produce any hormones. going without estrogen would be deadly for them.
we don't make enough money to support ourselves even without this new ongoing expense, so we're trying to raise money to at least avoid new problems.
