Relationships on social media, including the Fediverse, don't have clear boundaries.
Recognizing boundaries is essential for in-person friendships.
So, for me, as someone with ADHD/ASD who still struggles with how to create boundaries, "friends" are people I keep at a relatively greater distance than my relationships in the Fediverse.
