This is a listing that keeps on giving. Why are there stairs to pointless platforms? Why is there a hot tub upstairs on the landing? Why is anything?

A room clad in dreary grey faux-wood paneling with a yellow rug with a plaid design. On one wall there are stairs with a platform partway up the wall and above it are some shelves. The stairs don't seem to go anywhere.

A landing right near the front door that has a hot tub, and at the far end of the area is some stairs going up to a very small platform with nothing on it. There are also murals painted on the wall, with an ocean and mountain scene.
