So, I will stop working for my current employer (officially by the end of the month).
Generally a nice employer, but customers are a lottery, I had been considering this option for a while now (stress, growing mismatch in values, ...), and with the end of the current project for me it was a good off-ramp (they suggested).
A bit sad to go (and, you know, jobless for now, though I'll be fine for a while), but now I have time to handle some built-up personal things.

Still need to figure out what I want to do as wage work next. Got a few hints here already, all quite good.
Software dev, have mostly been doing web backend recently, pick up things fast.
Would be happier with things more technical and lower level, vague interests include graphics programming, algorithm engineering, hardware design, and space.
If you think you have hints for an ND-, queer-, and remote-friendly employer not on the AI bandwagon, feel free to drop/dm them.
