Much like nobody on fedi has a normal relationship with technology, nobody here has a normal amount of money either. Fedi is either stripeysocked people who don't have two pennies to rub together because they'll give their last fiver to a starving artist and forget "oh shit wait I'M a starving artist" and so they have keep passing the same wrinkled fiver around in a big stripey circle, or it's Computers People who've been doing Computers Things so long they don't know how to live on less than a hundred grand a year and there's nowt in between
