@ricmac@mastodon.social Separate: AT Proto is 2 years old now. 2 years after ActivityPub launched was 2020. When ActivityPub was published in 2018, the already decentralized fediverse upgraded to it. The argument in the screenshot does not stand.

@ricmac@mastodon.social I have observed some of the same simply by having my Mastodon account bridged to it. The interesting thing is that the person in the screenshot has been on the fediverse since at least 2018 and how differently they seem to remember it.
