I am now adding a blanket block against seeing any Flipboard content, EVER again:
if you find it "necessary" to participate in Flipboard's PRETEND provision-of-content to us,
then your publishing-programme can go get fucked.
Machiavellian strongarming against us *isn't* what we're here to be subjected-to.

Edit: now I discover that about HALF of the federated content I'm seeing is all Flipboard junk?!
Holey, moley, I hadn't realized that machiavellian-monopoly had successfully owned that much of the stuff visible in the fediverse, now..
Now I wish I'd put that filter on a year ago!
